The development counseling center, which works in the non-governmental association “Mica Teacher”, is intended for everyone who has dilemmas regarding parenting and the proper child development. 

All parental questions will be answered by a team consisting of three psychologists and a speech therapist. 

We fight obesity in children and parents through consultation with a dietician, the doctor who specializes in overweight.

MD PhD SPECIALIST IN HYGIENE, SUBSPECIALISTS OF DIET THERAPY 

Before the consultation on nutrition, a conversation and a physical examination are carried out, followed by anthropometric measurements and determination of body composition with the help of a special scale.

During the conversation, the most important information is about eating habits.

Taking into account everything that was previously mentioned, and in cooperation with the patient, the creation of a “nutrition guide” is approached.

B.Sc. DEFECTOLOGIST – SPEECH THERAPIST

She completed special education studies at the University of Belgrade, majored in speech therapy.

Since 2005, she has been working at the Public preschool institution “Đina Vrbica”.

In her current practice, she mainly dealt with developmental and speech-language disorders of children aged 0-6 years.

In addition to therapeutic work, she deals with advisory and instructional work, both with parents and with people who are professionally trained in child development (teachers, personal assistants…).

GRADUATED PSYCHOLOGIST, FAMILY COUNSELOR 

Many years of experience in working with children in the field of:

– psychological counseling (a variety of emotional problems in children, trauma, fears, phobias, providing support and an individual approach in overcoming various life and developmental crises)

– psychological testing

– developmental difficulties (autistic spectrum disorder, slow psychomotor development, intellectual difficulties, behavioral disorders, problems with attention and concentration)

– psychological support for family members

GRADUATE PSYCHOLOGIST

Graduated in psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić.

Transaction analyst – consultant certified by the TA center of Serbia.

Employed as a psychologist within the Children’s Hospital.

Working with children and adolescents who show some emotional problems, anxiety, adaptation problems, behavioral problems, etc.

Graduated in psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad.

Transaction analyst – consultant certified by TA center of Serbia.

Many years of experience in working with children and parents at the Podgorica Health Center.
